Internet or Outlook/Teams does not work
Note:
This help article applies to scenarios like "unable to connect", "proxy problem"
Problem:
User is able to login the company laptop. After logging in, the Microsoft Outlook or Teams application does not complete sign in process. User may able to use internet via web browser (Chrome, edge, firefox, etc.,)
For below scenarios, this help article does NOT apply.
"Incorrect username or password"
"Account is locked or disabled"
"outlook keeps asking for password"
Steps to check:
a) In Windows search bar, type "Internet options" and open it

b) In the "internet options" windows, go to "connections" tab

c) From 'connections' tab, click and open "LAN settings"

d) In "LAN settings", verify if checkbox "Automatically detect settings" is ticked. If not ticked, please tick it and click OK. Also click OK on others box (as shown above, as we go back). After few seconds, try to logging in Outlook/Teams.
